Sarah Jarosz announces Jan / Feb 2017 UK dates

Fresh from a sold out show at London's Union Chapel Sarah Jarosz will continue to promote her recent 'Undercurrent' album with another string of UK and Ireland dates early in 2017 which will include a Celtic Connections show. This year has been a very busy one for Sarah Jarosz and she's showing no signs of slowing down in 2017. Please read on for those dates and more about Sarah Jarosz including the Luck Mansion Sessions with Parker Millsap:

Undercurrent is different from Jarosz’s previous records. While her three earlier albums built on her reputation as an instrumentalist who could also sing and write, Undercurrent places the focus on the all-original songs. The album accentuates the growth and maturity Jarosz, now 25, has achieved since graduating from New England Conservatory and moving to New York and her Union Chapel concert in London – one of many sold out shows along the UK tour – further showcased that maturity

Last night in Atlanta I saw one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Parker Millsap and Sarah Jarosz. Both were astonishingly good. And their respective musicians too. It restored my faith in music. Bravo to you both
— Sir Elton John

While the focus of 2016 was primarily on touring as a trio with Jedd Hughes and Jeff Picker, Jarosz found time for other important collaborations—joining Garrison Keillor on a two-week A Prairie Home Companion Alaska tour, joining her bandmates in I’m With Her -- Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan -- at a few special events, including the upcoming  benefit, “Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt” for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, slated for December 11 in Los Angeles and she and collaborator Parker Millsap did the Luck Mansion Sessions, which paired various musicians together to film and record two songs. You can get a sneak preview of those recordings – due out in 2017 – here.
