With the season of good cheer upon us Red Guitar Music continues to feature songs with a Christmas theme and Phil Odgers has covered a vintage John Prine song. The original version of ‘Christmas In Prison’ appeared on the 1973 Prine album ‘Sweet Revenge’. This version was produced by Gerry Diver who plays violin and banjo on the track.

Phil Odgers is best known as a member of British folk punk group THE MEN THEY COULDN'T HANG who will see out their 30th anniversary celebrations with a return visit to Shepherd's Bush Empire in west London on 4th April 2015. This show will neatly bookend a year that saw the band play a sold out date in the same venue in April 2014 prior to releasing their ninth studio album, 'The Defiant' in the autumn of 2014.
