February 2nd 2015 will see the release of the new album from singer-songwriter Miriam Jones. The album features production by Simon Edwards (Fairground Attraction, Billy Bragg, David Gray) who also became the first member of her live band. She recently played a series of shows with Roddy Frame and will be supporting the album with a string of headline shows early in 2015.

Miriam Jones was born in Vancouver but is now based in the UK and during her childhood spent time in Nashville and Papua New Guinea. The resulting album features ten songs, no doubt influenced by the globe trekking of her formative years, which perfectly showcases her talents as a singer-songwriter. It is that talent that has bought comparisons to Bonnie Raitt and Joan Osborne.

Red Guitar Music has returned from a period of winter hibernation and if everything we hear is as good as Miriam Jones then 2015 will be a great year.
