Country Lips are looking to party 'Till The Daylight Comes'

December 01, 2016 by David Vousden in Americana, Country, Video

If your taste in country music harks back to the days of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, with tales of drinkin' and broken romance viewed from the bottom of a glass, then the eight strong Seattle act Country Lips are going to be essential listening going forward. Their latest album 'Till The Daylight Comes' gets a welcome UK release on January 6th 2017. More about the album and the video for single 'Grizzly Bear Billboard' follows:

Hailing from Seattle, this 8-piece powerhouse of a band are putting the fire back into country music, forcing you to re-evaluate what you already know about the genre. Recorded in Seattle and produced by Randall Dunn (Master Musicians Of Bukkake, Sunn O))), Cave Singers) the new album ‘Til The Daylight Comes’ (out January 6th) is pretty much an ode to all things alcohol, small-town romance and kicked-over bar stalls which all sounds pretty darn good to me.

Country Lips Are:

Austin Jacobsen - bass
Trevor Pendras - electric guitar, vocals
Miles Burnett - drums, vocals
Hamilton Boyce - electric guitar, vocals
Alex Leake - acoustic guitar, vocals
Jonah Byrne - fiddle
Kenny Aramaki - keys
Gus Clark - accordion, mandolin
