From Suffolk countryside to London town
Londoners that crave a taste of the Maverick Festival (in more ways than one) should head down to Kings Cross on the 24th / 25th June as they have teamed up with street food company Kerb to present Noshville. So if you want to hear some great music and sample some amazing food Granary Square in Kings Cross is the place to be this weekend.
Americana special edition of streetfood market set for Granary Square, King’s Cross with a chance to hear some of the great acts appearing at the Maverick Festival including Mississippi troubadour BRITT GULLY, New Orleans duo THOMAS & THERESA, Wichita tornados HYMN FOR HER, acclaimed Texan songstress BARBARA NESBITT and many more….
As summer begins, festival season starts its march towards the fields. Closer to the urban enclaves of KERB, London’s best street food market community, a taster of Maverick Festival will be available on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June at Granary Square, King’s Cross. Extended opening hours of 5:00pm until 10:30pm on Friday and 11:00am until 8:00pm on Saturday will be crammed with Americana style food, drink and music – with free entry to all.
The Maverick Festival will take place the following weekend July 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Easton Park Farm in Suffolk. This year we are excited to welcome the legendary Robyn Hitchcock, Grammy award winner Andrew Duhon, Bob Harris favourite Robert Vincent, founder of The Mekongs John Langford & the hugely popular Sam Outlaw, to the exciting line up.
A highlight of the festival this year will be:
