Marcus King, the hugely acclaimed singer, songwriter and guitarist, returns to the UK for a string of shows this month (March 2023), in support of last year’s stunning album Young Blood, which was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Part of a European trek, the dates include Marcus’ biggest London show thus far at the Kentish Town Forum. I’d advise getting there early, as support comes from Ida Mae. More about Marcus and those tour dates follow:
With a stadium-sized performance full of soul, rock and country, King has been lighting up stages across the USA for the past few months. Featuring a spectacular group of musicians as his band, King’s on-stage charisma, unparalleled playing prowess and hugely soulful vocals mean these dynamic live shows are not to be missed.
Supporting Marcus King are acclaimed British duo Ida Mae. Their electrifying blend of garage-based rock and roll with folk, soul and country has won them fans across the globe.
