The FIXX, one of the most innovative bands to come out of the ‘MTV’ era, will play 5 UK dates in May 2025, rescheduled from December 2024. All previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new dates, which are on sale now from www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/the-fixx/. The FIXX’s classic line-up remains intact, Cy Curnin (vocals), Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards), Dan K. Brown (bass guitar) and Adam Woods (drums). After the success of a one-off London show in March 2024 - incredibly their first UK gig in nearly 20 years - the band are excited to return next year. Support on all shows will come from Wreckless Eric.
The band enjoyed global success, with three #1 hits in the US, five more in the Top 5 and a dozen which reached the Top 10. With millions of albums sold worldwide, songs such as “One Thing Leads To Another,” “Red Skies” and “Saved By Zero” remain everyday staples on the playlists of the Rock, AAA and Alternative radio stations that continue to break new acts inspired by the era that The FIXX helped to define. ‘Reach The Beach’ the band’s second album was certified Platinum in the States, and in 2022 the band broke a ten year silence to record the excellent ‘Every Five Seconds’ set.
Initially forming in London in 1979, for four decades the band has created and nurtured a special connection with its audience. These dates are a rare chance for fans to enjoy a phenomenal live act.
