Headlining the Rhinestone main stage, and making his long-awaited UK debut whilst doing it, is the multi-platinum selling artist from California, Jon Pardi. Having made a name for himself for his energetic live performances and known for his traditional country sound and honky-tonk style, Pardi has been praised for bringing a fresh and authentic approach to the genre and has won numerous awards off the back of four acclaimed studio albums. With his catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and undeniable charisma, he has become one of the most popular country music stars of his generation and is set to bring one hell of a show to The Long Road this August.

Southern rock masters Blackberry Smoke are also announced as mainstage headliners today, and bring over 20 years of stellar country riffs to the party. Riding high off the back of their latest album, ‘You Hear Georgia’, which gives a nod to their home state and went straight in at number 1 on the Billboard Americana/folk chart, the group were also described as a “sensational live band” by The Independent after one of their last UK shows at The Roundhouse. Expect a sprawling, blues-infused hoedown for the ages.

Also announced today as part of the first wave of acts for 2023, is the Eli Young Band, over for their very first UK appearance at TLR. This multi-platinum selling outfit has been touring the world for the past 20 years, and their music has topped charts around the world. One of the most exciting acts on the line up will certainly be Nashville’s Margo Price, who was accurately tipped by The Fader as "country's next star”. No stranger to UK Country fans, she’s already performed at Glastonbury and made her UK TV debut on Later… with Jools Holland, after releasing four celebrated albums on Jack White’s Third Man Records.

The Grammy-winning trio Nickel Creek will be bringing their unique sound to The Long Road festival over the bank holiday. Their blend of Bluegrass, Folk and Country music has won them critical acclaim around the world, and Sierra Ferrell is another artist to look out for at the festival. The young singer-songwriter has been making waves in the US Country music scene, with a sound that incorporates elements of jazz, folk, and Latin styles such as tango and calypso music. Equally eclectic, Breland brings a dose of R&B, gospel and soul to the country sound, and is set to appear this year alongside acclaimed Canadian singer and winner of CCMA’s 2019 Female Artist of the Year Tenille Townes.

Elsewhere on today’s line up announcement sees the welcome return of Color Me Country with Rissi Palmer as well as a Color Me Country All Stars performance on the main stage. Alongside the soulful country trio with grit, Chapel Hart, New Orleans voodoo rock band Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, Texas songwriter Joshua Ray Walker, London indie pop songwriter Charlotte Clark, Australian heartfelt country singer Jackson Dean and many more.
