FM announce UK/European tour in support of 'Thirteen' album

  • Google Calendar ICS

Without a doubt, the hardest working band in the melodic rock/AOR community stalwart UK rockers FM are back with a new album, ‘Thirteen’ set to drop March 18th, 2022 via Frontiers Music. The first single, ‘Waiting On Love’ is another in a string of seemingly effortless melodic gems for which FM have made their name and whets the appetite rather nicely for the new record. As this is FM, they’ll naturally be touring in support of ‘Thirteen’ with UK and European shows already on the books. Those tour dates and more about FM and the new record follow:

Vega announce 2021 'Anarchy and Unity' UK tour

UK rockers Vega were one of the hardest working bands on the UK scene pre-pandemic and the guys are hitting the road again in late 2021. The recent release of their seventh album ‘Anarchy and Unity’ found the band unsurprisingly receiving great reviews from the likes of Classic Rock, Powerplay and Fireworks. The refreshed Vega line-up is returning to touring with dates up and down the country kicking off at London’s Underworld on October 9th. More about Vega, the tour and ‘Anarchy and Unity’ follows:

The Sheepdogs announce 2019 UK dates with Rival Sons

The Sheepdogs are fast becoming a favourite here at RGM towers. Their recent ‘Changing Colours’ album is a must listen for classic rock fans who enjoy the likes of The Allman Brothers and The Band. The thing that really cemented our interest in the band was a stunning show at the Borderline last year (review). The guys are fantastic live so it’s great to share the news that the band will be touring the UK with Rival Sons in Jan/Feb 2019. Please read on for the tour dates, the video for the infectious ‘Saturday Night’ and more about The Sheepdogs:

Jethro Tull announce 50th anniversary tour

In these days of fleeting one-hit wonders and reality TV, when the average attention span is measured in seconds, the fact that a band can announce a 50th anniversary tour is to be applauded. Jethro Tull are up there with the likes of The Rolling Stones, who they appeared with in 1968 at the ill-fated Rock and Roll Circus event, in the longevity stakes. Ian Anderson has led his troops through the decades rarely making a musical mistake and the result is a very impressive body of work which will be celebrated early next year. The latest line-up of the band with Anderson at the helm will perform a run of shows in the UK in April 2018. Tour dates and ticket details follow:

Toto commence 40th Anniversary celebrations with European Dates

For fans of Toto 2018 looks to be a banner year as the band celebrate their 40th Anniversary. To start the ball rolling European dates have been announced for early in 2018 and to coincide Sony Legacy will release a remastered hits set, that will include newly recorded material. The band are rumoured to have extensive plans in place to mark the anniversary, with talk of deluxe remastered editions of their classic albums and a box set in the works. I'm hopeful, as a big fan, that all these things will come to fruition, especially with the news that the band are fully involved in the upcoming releases. Please read on for much more about Toto and those all important tour dates with tickets on sale from June 20th:
